Designer 6-Inch vs. Easy Step 6-Inch Extension: Which Fits?

Quick answer

Choose the Home Accents Designer 6-inch extension if you need a 30-inch height match for the Home Accents gate. Pick the Easy Step Extra Tall 6-inch extension for a taller 36-inch height that works with several Regalo gates.

Trade-offs at a glance

• Home Accents Designer 6-inch extension: 30-inch height, black color, designed specifically for the Home Accents Baby Gate (Model #0310). Check that your gate is Model #0310 before buying.
• Easy Step Extra Tall 6-inch extension: 36-inch height, white color, works with three different tall gates (Models #1166, #1167, #1168). Measure your gate height to confirm 36 inches is needed.
• Compatibility check: Neither extension is universal. The Designer extension only fits one gate model. The Easy Step Extra Tall extension fits three models, but not the Home Accents gate. Always verify your gate model number before purchasing an extension.
